Each Math Chants pack includes:
Student Book – The student book (21.6 cm. x 28 cm) allows the children to independently chant the rhymes, to learn the names and values of numbers, to practice their counting skills forwards and backwards, and to count in multiples.
Posters – Eleven colourful posters to share with groups to provide knowledge, practice and enjoyment while learning about early mathematical concepts.
Math Chants Activity Book – This spiral bound activity book written by Helen Depree and Fiona Knight contains lesson plans, suggestions for student practice in relevant contexts, and reproducible student activities.
About Sonja Dunn
Former teacher, actor and drama consultant Sonja Dunn is instantly recognizable to teachers and children alike, in her many-pocketed story skirt, as she strums her guitar and encourages her audiences to sing, chant and participate in her rhymes.
